ABOUT US: Company Background

American Automation Building Solutions is an African-American, DBE small business founded to meet the needs of clients in the following areas: Integrated Physical Security; Systems Design & Integration; Cyber Security Solutions; and Building Automation and Energy Management. We are a visionary and capable, organization, providing solutions to the U.S. Military and federal agencies.

Corporate History

The Business Plan for American Automation Building Solutions, Inc. was first developed in 1996. It's founder, Ishmail Nassardeen-Buckley, saw the impact of technology on buildings, infrastructure, and applications and what impact it could have the efficiency of teams, organizations, even nations. With this, and a significant level of technical and business savvy, Mr. Nassardeen-Buckley, founded American Automation Building Solutions, Inc. in Castle Rock, CO in February 2001.

From supporting clients in the residential market to now the Federal, State, Local and Commercial Clients, Mr. Nassardeen-Buckley has led growth of the Company to record levels, every year since inception.

There have since been two significant events in the life of the Company. In November 2002, Company President, Ms. Lisa Buckley left her Fortune 500 corporate career, where her last assignment was as Chief Marketing Officer at First Data Corporation, to work full time at American Automation Building Solutions, Inc. Together, the Nassardeen-Buckley's represent a true "Power Couple" where their goal, first and foremost, is to exceed the needs of their clients and to provide career opportunities for those in the Community.

The second significant event in the life of American Automation Building Solutions, Inc. was in June 2004 when the Company expanded its strategic direction from its roots in Intrusion Detection and Prevention, to also include Integrated Physical Security; Systems Design & Integration; Cyber Security Solutions; and Building Automation and Energy Management.

With this expanded capacity and change in strategic direction, the winners are our clients. Additionally, we have also expanded our relationships with other Prime Contractors such as The Industrial Company (TIC), Honeywell, Northrop Grumman, and SAIC to solidify strategic change in direction of the Company.

Based in Colorado, we are well poised to support the largest number of Federal Agencies and Installations, outside of Washington, D.C. Additionally, we have served clients across the U.S. including Nebraska, Georgia, Ohio, and Florida, among others.

The tremendous growth of American Automation Building Solutions has been recognized by Colorado Biz Magazine, as the fastest growing Company in Colorado. We support our industry with membership in numerous organizations supporting the efforts of the needs of our client.

What Does the Future Hold?

Technology - we get it. We work to integrate it for the betterment of our clients' requirements, to provide value and mitigate costs. In this post 9-11 era, our goal is to continue to provide the best designs, executions, goods, and services to allow our clients to reach their goals. If we achieve this, we will be able to expand our resource depth to provide an even better array of products and services.

Our goal is to strive to exceed customer expectations every day. And to build an organization that can not only meet your needs today, but tomorrow as well. Our desire is to build strong relationships with the GSA; State and Local First Responders; Colorado Military Installations, including Fort Carson, Schriever AFB, Buckley AFB, Peterson AFB, Norad, NORTHCOM, and Federal Agencies, including The Department of Homeland Security, The Department of State, and FAA.

We dedicate ourselves to helping you reach your goals.
